    Laura Mueller

    Global Director - Equipment Sourcing
    Texas Instruments

    Laura Mueller is a Global Director at Texas Instruments (TI) responsible for Equipment Sourcing. She leads TI’s global equipment sourcing strategy and organization that enables the expansion of TIs manufacturing operations through partnerships with equipment suppliers. Laura’s team engages with suppliers and industry partners to develop strategic partnerships and further protect TI’s supply chain ultimately providing customers with greater assurance of supply and cost advantages through geopolitically dependable capacity. She leads in an empowering, collaborative, and process-oriented manner.

    Laura’s career began with TI in 2013 as a Technical Sales representative within TI’s Americas Sales & Applications organization. She has held account and regional sales management positions supporting industrial and A&D customers. She then joined TI’s Marketing organization as Director for TI’s Aerospace and Defense (A&D) Systems Engineering and Marketing team which led the worldwide A&D strategy and built upon TI’s > 60-year legacy within the A&D market. In addition, Laura led TI’s cross-functional Aerospace and Defense Advisory Team, which guides TI enhancements in A&D specific infrastructure, internal acumen, business models and customer engagements. Laura earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas.

    Laura is passionate about serving people and helping individuals reach their full potential. Inside of TI, she serves as a mentor and is actively engaged in TI’s Women’s Employee Network. Outside of TI, she is a mentor for engineering students at the University of Texas at Dallas and supporter of Operation Get Out, an organization that provides outings, events and resources that intentionally utilize nature and water for positive mental, emotional and physical wellness impact for individuals & organizations experiencing anxiety, grief, loss, trauma and /or post-traumatic stress.

    At home, Laura’s husband and 3 young adventurous boys inspire her to stay curious and active. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, especially near water, and making pizzas from scratch with ingredients from the community garden.
