Senior Engineer

Rebecca Lin (she/her/hers) is a Senior Product Development Engineer at Eaton in Denver, CO working on medium-voltage switchgear. Just a few months prior, she served as a Design and Production Engineer of the Pacific Air Switch Corporation (PASCOR). Working with the head of production, marketing, and president of the company, she designs electrical air switch components that protect the electrical grid and develops tests that adhere to IEEE and ANSI standards.
Her strong foundation in human-centered design and manufacturing started at UT Austin. Graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a certificate in Design Strategies, Rebecca led multiple project teams and served on student organization leadership boards. Today, Rebecca serves as the DEIB Coordinator for the Early Career Professionals Affinity Group, the Initiative Launch Lead of the Membership Engagement Working Group, Treasurer for the Columbia River Section, and the Programs Lead for the WELocal Portland Conference.
