Joy Marsalla, PE, LEED GA, is a Senior Manager of Sustainable Engineering in ESG at Lam Research, where she leads cross functional initiatives to reduce carbon emissions by embedding sustainability into engineering, lab operations, and product platforms. Her work focuses on electrification, tool design strategies, green chemistry, and advancing water and waste programs that strengthen Lam’s long term environmental goals. A professional environmental engineer with a master’s degree from Arizona State University, Joy specializes in translating complex technical and chemical challenges into actionable corporate strategies that inform financial, risk, and operational decisions. Joy is passionate about connecting people and protecting the planet, a commitment reflected in her volunteer work with the Society of Women Engineers and the Red Panda Network. Outside of work, she brings her love of yoga and mindfulness into her community.
