In high-stakes technical careers, confidence, awareness, and adaptability are essential leadership traits—skills also developed through self-defense and martial arts training. Led by a software engineer, Technical Associate Fellow, and certified Gracie Women Empowered Self-Defense instructor, this hands-on workshop invites participants to actively practice beginner-friendly techniques while exploring how these physical principles translate into technical leadership. Attendees will learn how setting boundaries, staying grounded, and responding decisively under pressure can build leadership confidence and communication skills. No experience is required. Come ready to move, reflect, and leave feeling more empowered in every aspect of your professional journey.
